The Cuyahoga County Charter requires our government to improve our economic competitiveness and strive for job creation and economic growth as fundamental government aims. To further these goals, the Economic Development & Planning Committee, chaired by Councilman Jack Schron, reviews and approves all legislation introduced for the implementation, expansion, and enhancement of economic activity in Cuyahoga County to create and preserve jobs and employment opportunities for residents of the County.
