Euclid, OH – Heroin-induced deaths in Cuyahoga County have risen drastically, going from 40 in 2007 to 194 in 2013, according to Dr. Thomas P. Gilson, Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner.

The summit will focus on the rising heroin epidemic in Cuyahoga County and speakers will include Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner Dr. Thomas Gilson, Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Judge David T. Matia, Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court Judge Denise Rini, Cuyahoga County Sheriff Frank Bova, Euclid Police Captain Scott Meyer, Euclid Police Department, Narcotics and Vice Department Supervisor Detective Sergeant Tom Arriza and Euclid Fire Department Chief Christopher Haddock.  All residents are encouraged and welcome to attend.
