Cuyahoga County Council To Hold Briefing On County Administration Complex, Will Also Consider Resolution Urging Ohio Medicaid Expansion

Work Session, County Council will be briefed on the progress of the planned County Administration Complex. Representatives from Geis Co., URS and the County Administration will provide information and answer questions about design and construction of the property.
At its 5:00 p.m. Regular Meeting
, County Council will consider a resolution urging the Ohio General Assembly to support the expansion of Medicaid in Ohio. An important topic of debate at all levels of government, Medicaid expansion is projected to support basic health insurance for an additional 72,000 Cuyahoga County residents by 2015, add thousands of jobs in the county and millions of dollars to the county’s sales tax revenues.
