Invitation to apply for 2012-13 Charter Review Commission

6/6/2012 The first Charter Review Commission of Cuyahoga County, consisting of nine members nominated by the Executive and confirmed by Council, is mandated by the Charter to be appointed in September of 2012. Over the course of the following year, this commission will review all sections of the Charter and make recommendations for amendment.

The Executive is currently accepting applications to serve on the 2012-13 Charter Review Commission. Commission members must be electors of Cuyahoga County and will serve one-year terms without pay.

County Council, pursuant to Section 12.09 of the Charter, has established rules and procedures for the operation of the Charter Review Commission. Click here to read the ordinance establishing those rules.
